Our pastor
Pastor Charlie Grear Jr.& Lady Terri Walker Grear
The Holy Word Church was established on August 1, 2020, through much prayer and fasting, when Bishop Kevin J. Boyd Sr. of Church at New Orleans (CANO) laid hands on Elder Charlie Grear Jr. and sent him out to pastor. Five years on, the theme of our anniversary says it plainly: We can’t come down, we are doing a work (Nehemiah 6:3).
The Holy Word Church is a faith based church who firmly believes in the power of the Holy Ghost to change lives through God’s word and His endless love and compassion for His people. You are always welcome to come grow with us.
Our storyThe verse on our shirts
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Hebrews 4:12
