What happens
Plates, clothes, groceries. No questions.
“Every fourth Saturday of every month we provide 100 plates of food, and provide clothing and non-perishable food items to the community.” That is how Pastor Grear describes it, and that is exactly what it is. Hot plates go out from 9:00 am until the plates are gone. Tables of clothing and non-perishable groceries are set out beside them. Take what you need and take some for a neighbor.
Some months we have given two hundred plates. We would rather run out than turn you away, so come early.
Nothing to sign and nothing to prove. If you cannot get here, call Lady Terri at Call the church and we will see what we can do.

How to help
Three ways in
- Give toward the plates. Cash App $HolyWordChurch or Givelify. A hundred plates is a lot of chicken.
- Bring something. Clean clothes in good condition and canned or boxed food. Drop them at the church on a Thursday night or the Saturday morning itself.
- Come serve. We start setting up before 9:00 am. Tell us you are coming and we will put you to work.

School supplies in August
Every first Saturday in August we give away school supplies so our neighborhood’s children start the year ready.
